Put that Cookie down...NOW.

This meme was created from the movie, Jingle All the Way staring Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the movie he gets angered at his neighbor, whom is sitting in his house eating a cookie. So Howard(Arnold character) yells at him to put the cookie down. This scene quickly caused people to start producing some pretty funny mash-ups.

Pants On The Ground American Idol

A 62 year old man named Larry Platt auditioned for the 9th season of American Idol with an originally written song. After the audition episode aired with this song, "pants on the ground" people quickly began to sing the song, and post videos of themselves singing the song. The man had written the song to make a message that wearing your pants below your waistline, makes you look like a 'fool.' Larry was not allowed to go to the next round of American Idol because he was over the age limit. But as Randy Jackson(one of the judges) pointed out, it wouldn't be the last time we will hear of Larry, and clearly it wasn't because the video is all over!

Untoons

Untoons are photos created using hyperrealism artwork. They are 3D images of a cartoon, or video game character with realisitc facial features. Untoons quickly spread on peoples blogs, and are now used on websites like flickr. I personally think the untoon are hilarious. It's funny to see what a cartoon would actually look like if you were to see there face in real life. You can find an untoon of almost any cartoon character out there!

Epic Beard Man

This fight between a young man, a man over 50 years old became a video meme on youtube. A small arguement on a transit bus turns into a public fist fight. There was a video posted on youtube the next day with over one million views. The obvious reason this became a meme was because it occured in a public place, people love seeing other people get hurt. Another reason this became a meme was because the younger kid was bleeding all over asking for an 'amberlance' clearing doesn't speak proper english! Overall i found this meme to be quite hysterical!

tl;dr

Too long; Didn't read.
Apparently this internet slang term has been used since 2003. It is used in internet discussions as a response to previous posts. When someone leaves a post on a discussion board that is lengthy and wordy someone else will comment back saying they didn't read the post. It's almost something i wish i could use when people are just talking to me, like Stop talking; not listening!

This is Why we Can't have Nice Things.

This is why we can't have nice things is a meme created as a reponse to disscussions when people start venturing off topic. Most of the photos are of cats laughing out loud, with the caption. This meme is pretty funny considering that people of all ages use it. Parents sometimes use it when a child breaks or spills something, and under kids use it when having an online disscussion. Apparently it is also known as an Arguecat.

Website Number Two

For my second website I am remaking a website made by someone I know so that it will look more professional. The website is a for a memorial/fundraising golf outing that takes place each year in my hometown.
